Jason and Del did a fantastic job on this fitting for a very happy customer in Ashwell.
They installed the following over 1 day in order to create safe and easy access into and around the loft.
⭐BOARDING
The Boarding is a great way of utilizing the loft’s previously unusable space into a great area to store items on of which is also safe to walk on. The boarding is installed in lines (rather than staggered), they are installed on top of the track system of which are set out for the boarding to be laid in lines. This also helps should the customer need to get below the boarding they can raise approximately 5 boards rather than all of the boarding if it was to be staggered.
⭐TRACK SYSTEM
The track system is used primarily in new builds as it complies with the NHBC warranty. We use the Track System for a number of reasons including:
⭐ They are installed at 90 degrees to the existing joists of which helps spread the weight of anything stored on the boards and whilst walking across the boarded area. This also helps to prevent any cracking of the ceiling below.
They raise the boards high enough in order to give the insulation below room to breathe and to stop any compression. They also allow for obstructions below the boarding such as pipe work and electrics.
⭐TELESCOPIC LADDER
⭐Telescopic ladders are ideal for small, tight spaces. These ladders require virtually no clearance space or storage space in your loft and also need minimal landing space.
Well done team.
