What happens during the quotation?

The surveyor will arrive between a prearranged time. He will give you a thorough survey of the loft area and recommend ladders and loft boards to suit your needs. This is a free, no obligation survey.

Do you offer warranty?

Yes, all of our work is guaranteed and all of our fitters are fully insured.  

Do I have to have my loft insulated?

It is not mandatory, but the government recommend that houses have 270 mm of insulation in the loft area, most older houses will have 100 mm so this would need to be increased by 170 mm. Newer houses should already have 270 mm of insulation. This is a service that we can provide for you and can be discussed during the quotation. 

Does my loft need to be cleared?

Yes. We ask that all personal items in the area of the loft hatch and any area that the  flooring and insulation is to be fitted, is cleared. 

What about old boards and insulation?

Our fitting team are able to remove these items for our customers, but a removal fee will be added. Please discuss this with our consultant at your meeting. 

What if my loft is hard to get to?

We supply loft ladders which are able to accommodate lofts with limited access and space.
